Renfrew tried something about PIE in his 'Archaeology and Language'
and got rejected by some linguists.
So, how does one establish a concordance system between archaeology
and language? Most archaeological reports name artefacts in modern
jargon which may not be related to the languages spoken by the
artists who produced these artefacts.
