We have I guess 3 big possibilities if the Trojans have been IE-people.
If IE originated somewhere in Anatolia, then it can be the Trojans are
so to say autochthonous.
If IE-people are coming from India, then they should have been migrated
somewhere east around the Black Sea for entering
the Asia Minor. If IE originated in Danube Regions, then they crossed
the Bosphorus. The names of the Trojans will help a bit more here since
the toponyms are maybe unsure, because they could be of Thracian origin
but _after_ fall of Troj. Anyone has the courage to analyse the Trojan
names?:-) For sure they are not Indo-Iranian, that is to see
immediately:)
