Yes, but he is Greek! And approximately 1000 years after the Trojans.
He tells us what the Greeks and other peoples of that time called their
hills and towns and rivers. He cannot tell us what people a thousand years
earlier called them.

Your claim is that he tells us something about the Trojan language - which
is absurd.
