What is going on, Daniel, is analyses in bits and pieces, from a
variety of perspectives (spiritual, religious to archaeological).
The cauldron is a very complex artefact made of silver. A good
resource is 'Bodies from the Bog'

One unerlying feature is emphatic and unambiguous, in my opinion:
metal-workers (extending from Bulgars to Meluhhans, from Gypsies to
Cretans).
Conjectures: the panels of the cauldron are some ideographic (or
rebus) representation of tools of trade of metal-workers, e.g. types
of furnaces used and types of tools and weapons produced using a
variety of metals and creating alloys. May even be connected to the
Sintashta-Arkaim archaeological sites.
