On pig and leaf.
I find the following entries in Nahali vocabulary:
Nahali coggom, cogum, jogom 'pig, swine'; Mundari cakob 'to eat
making a sound as pigs when eating'
cokob 'leaf of a tree' Kurku, Santali, Mundari sakom 'leaf'
This finds a parallel in the words: pala, 'flesh'; pala, 'leaf':
pala 'leaf'; Skt. pallava 'sprout, bud', Santali palha 'leaf, get
leaves'
pala 'flesh, meat' (Ya_jn~avalkya); Lat. palea; Fr. paille, Lith.
pelai.
