You are right here. Aphrodite was borned from teh blood of uranus, blood
which faled down on the sea. This became a foam and from this foam was
born Aphrodite.
I am not sure if apfhoridte is the compound name of "spuma nitri"=
"afronitron".
So far I remember , the old greek sagas do not tell us anything about
"why" Aphrodites became the godess of love.
