Umm, perhaps I only check this list from time to time on the
internet, and happened to miss your request.
Although the Cimbri are traditionally associated with northern
Jutland, we can't say for sure where the original homeland of the
Cimbri was (see Peter Wells, "Beyond Celts, Germans and Scythians",
Duckworth, 2001), but it is likely that they came from a culturally
mixed area (Germanic and Celtic), where Celtic language (especially
personal names) held some sort of prestige.
