Yes, Alb. gjyk- <-- Lat. iu:dic-. The loss of the intervocalic voiced stop, the "strengthening" of initial *j > Alb. gj, and the fronting of long *u: (from contracted /u:/ + /i/) are all regular Albanian changes.
