So far I rememebr from my russian study it was " utSitel,", "utSitelia", "utSitelnitsa" and the verb "utSi"= to learn, so I suppose the "c" was in slavic already palatalised, wasn't it?

Yes, whenever a front vowel followed, so *uc^iti 'teach' (*uc^iti se~ 'learn'), *uc^itel- 'teacher' but *nauka 'learning, science'. The same root is found in *-vykati 'get accustomed', where *vyk- < *yk- < *u:k-. Cf. the second syllable of Russ. obyknovenno 'usually'.
