I know. I lost a German friend through 25 years on that account. One
day I finally had it with his "Danes are North Germans" stuff. One
year later I meet him and he starts all over again. Out.
Or the book titled "Skandinavien" or such, from the 1960, I found in
the library: on page 8, already, the burning qustion: "Warum ist es
nicht ein Teil von Deutschland?". If we're getting along so great,
why did we build a wall (Dannevirke, Danewerk) the size of Hadrian's
between us and them?
