wait a moment Miguel. Which is the root for german "zagen"?I tought it
must be the same as for latin "dico", in this case, PIE *deik
And you go from the only posibility s->/z-/ in german and /d-> z/-/ in
rom.
You do not ever take in consideration an another posibility ob both
going s-<z-/ from *deik
And this just because we mean we now nothing about thracian.
But we have ( not in relation with romanian now) in thracian
zalmos/zalmoxe which shows that thracian did already in the pre-latin
times PIe *de in "z". Tell me please why I should be wrong here?
