jdbgmgr.exe is a HOAX

Everyone that just deleted there jdbgmgr.exe file, read carefully:

1) Always run the virus name in a search engine or check your
anti-virus home page before taking any action in response to e-mail
warning messages.

2) Symantec (Norton parent) says it is a hoax. Symantec Security
Response encourages you to ignore any messages regarding this hoax. It
is harmless and is intended only to cause unwarranted concern.

3) If you overreacted and deleted the file (don't panic) it isn't
critical to your system and can be replaced easily.

4) See details here including typical warning messages in several
languages ( and details on replacing the file :-)

5) Possibly the most effective virus is one that induces YOU to do the
damage to your own system by over reaction through deception (and flood
world net systems by generating 734 million unnecessary warnings to all
known contact list addressees) ... . :-P
