Oh, I misread the question to apply to introductions to Indo-European
Comparative Linguistics. Due to incessant frustrations with the manuals by
Szemerényi, Beekes and Meier-Brügger, I just blew my top and shouted No.

I agree with Piotr that Anttila's and Hock's books are excellent. I don't
know Campbell's that well, and have not got it to hand, but I remember
being disappointed with a number of things in it when I saw it. If anybody
cares I can check next time I get at it and write a note about it.
