Milk and a Gaulish Love Poem

I have just read in 'Peter's Roots List' that 'swe:id' is given as the root for milk. Could someone explain the 'milk', 'lact-' and 'llefrith/blith' (Welsh) root and its reflexes in other languages?

Does anyone have any good information on the 'Gaulish' love poem (if that is what it is) found on a piece of pottery in a well near Paris? Jean-Yves Lambert is currently working on it. An article (with vague pretentions to historical and linguistic accuracy) appeared on it last week in The Telegraph.
