Thanks for the references you posted.

I'm trying to get my mind around your explanation - which I'm sure
is very well-argued. My problem is that I am unfamiliar with many of
the pre-historic cultures, their artifacts and the time-frame to which
you refer. I might get a better understanding if it were presented in
a tabulated or diagrammatic format.

Obviously there is some more research for me to do!
