It isn't a Romani dialect, though the Jats are sometimes referred to as "Gypsies". Those in Ukraine and Russia are predominantly Muslim.

lists all today's Indo-aryan languages. Almost all are in the Indian
subcontinent as expected. But one language 'Jakati' is listed in
Ukraine. Why this anomoly? Is it a descendent of Romany languages?
