due the fact we are here from several countries and because very much of
us have considerably lingvistic acknowledges , I guess here is the
best place to ask about this name.
In the list of Ptolemy we get some dacian tribes. One of them was called
"Predavensii".
I am not sure if it is reliable to make a link between the name Preda
( which is relative a common name among rumanians) and the name of the
dacian Predavensii. This is why I ask:

is there in the european countries ( excluding the rumanians,
arumanians, megleno-rumanins names) such a name which could be linked
to the name Predavensii ?
