with long hair, Capillati (proto-Franks? -Merovingians?; somehow I'm
reminded of the good old 70's). It might also shed light on the
Cimmmerian ?= Cimbri/Cymru question (invasion from the east sometime
in 800-500 BCE?). It also seems to corroborate at least to some
degree Alex Moeller's claim that the use of Latin (and Greek) was
widespread and that the native languages were disregarded (somewhat
like the situation in an ex-British or -French colony).
