Similarity? Since when does sharing a single vowel count
as "similarity"?? How many times does it have to be repeated on this
list that <blakHos> (pronounced [vlaxos], pl. <blakHoi> [vlaxi]) is
the Greek spelling of South Slavic vlaxU < *volxU, itself a
Slavicised version of Germanic *walxaz? There's absolutely nothing
mysterious about the etymology of the word, and no real-world
connection, genuine or folk-etymological with <dakai> is even
remotely possible. There _is_ a demonstrable etymological connection
with Wales, for example -- and that's something truly remarkable.
