Hi Folks
I have replotted the Network as a Phylogenetic Tree and some
interesting reslts show.
1. It confirms a three way split in the Human Genome between
Africans, Amero-Eurasians and South-East Asian/Australoid.
2. It locates Cushitic and Sudanic with the Eurasian and not African
populations (which is to be expected if Afro-Asiatic langauges are
a "sister" branch with the Nostratic.
3. Given that the three way split probably occurred some 75,000 years
ago (with the SEAsian/Australoid departure through Yemen) the splits
between European and Middle Eastern are definitely pre-Neolithic, and
may be Upper Paleolithic in date.
4. As usual the Sardinian population shows up as anomalous.
Explanations anyone?
I can post it up on the files if anyone is interested.
Regards
John
