Can I just check your dates, though? You're talking of the demise of the Funnel Beaker culture towards the end of the 4th millenium (that is, about 3000 BC / BCE or 5000 BP). You say the meteorite landed 3000 BP. Did you mis-type something there? You do go on to say "after 5000 years", so I'm guessing you meant 3000BC / BCE
