It might also interest list members to know that Beavers are attested
archaeological at Harappan sites (e.g. Amri in Sindh, see the French
excavation report) and at contemporary and even late (e.g. 2100 -
1700 B.C.) levels in Kashmir (which had extensive trade links with
Harappans and even Late-Harappans).

I have stated this because the 'Beaver/Babhru' argument is used by
Witzel et al to propose Aryan migrations into India.
