I hope, for my own sake, that there ARE no stupid questions!
I know that Piotr and the rest of the list have been amazingly
patient with my own ramblings and wonderings out loud.

I agree. This list is a wonderful source of information, and
asking provocative questions is a good trick for getting the
'masters' to elaborate and share more of their knowledge. So
please, bring on the 'stupid' questions! I have a long list
of my own that I'm trying to dole out slowly enough so as not
to 'kill the golden goose'.
