*k  = [q]  (uvular)

German 'ach'? If not, what is an example of it?
It's a stop articulated with the body of the tongue strongly retracted and making contact with the soft palate near the uvula. It occurs in many languages, e.g. Arabic (transliterated as <q>) and Inuit (spelt <q>).
