Harmatta's dating of IIr loans in Uralic
languages, uncritically accepted by Misra, is somewhat controversial (based
on the very uncertain and probably exaggerated dating of Proto-Uralic and
Proto-Finno-Ugric). To make matters worse, Misra's routinely and tendentiously "reads Indo-Aryan" where
the source of the loan may have been (indeed, in some cases must have been)
Proto-Indo-Iranian or even pre-Proto-IIr.

What about Harmatta's views on Indo-Iranian (Misra reads:
Indo-Aryan)
dates?
