As to possible Atlantis sites
I saw some time ago in the Guardian that the Seychelles in the Indian
Ocean are lying on an undersea ridge or plateau approx. 50m below the
surface. That meams it was dry for some time, until one of rises of
the world's oceans (or "floods") flooded it. The article speculated
on possible traces of human activity. Now there's a nice site for an
Atlantis. Wonder what language they might have spoken?
