Ah, well I have generally steared clear of Vennemann - I have heard
too many negative comments about his work. I was not aware of this
particular etymology of his - it seems rather bizarre, especially
since PIE *bhel- [2] "swell/blow" seems to make such perfect sense
here, and also seems to enjoy widespread acceptance.
