OK, I have only posted once and I haven't read on how moderated it
was. The first post was moderated ( delayed), but it was that here
also.

Gothic is also moderated but there are no

Well, only the first post in that case, or they do it really quick.

There's a great debate about

Since there are intensive debates on the Heruli, it's bound to be
much on the reliability of Procopius. Among other things, he
described two Britains in very inaccurate places ( at least one of
them, if I remember it correctly.) I believe he also describes a very
defeated and tiny group of Heruli in the beginning of the sixth
century returning to their relatives in Thule, by way of territories
of Danes. It's also questionable

It's the best one of them all I think.
The nature of the goths and the belief of many in Sweden that that we
are intimately related to the goths or nearly *are* the goths cf.
Gotlanders or Götalanders (there is a fine word for it, but I don't
remember it now), made the discussions tending to be off-topic quite
often.
That was why the sister group Germanic-L was formed.
