HYMN LV. Visvedevas.You probably know that the Visve-devas are a collection of about 50 hymns designed to include all the gods in case any got missed out. One of them is even a puzzle, where each verse refers to a different god, without naming him.As for the cows, I can't help. The modern gosalas, or Cows' Homes, are probably not meant here! I can suggest you post it on the Indo-Iranian list.Peter
