I greatly appreciate your input here,
and I would be delighted to see the increase and progress of Dravidian
studies worldwide, but the kind of rhetoric cited below is inflammatory and
should be avoided on this list. Indologists at western univesities would be
taken aback, and with good reason. The "Aryosophy" of the Nazis took
the term "Aryan" out of its legitimate real-world context; it was
given an arbitrary fantastic meaning in the ravings of sick minds.
"Sanskrit profs" are in no way responsible for that. You might just as well
blame astronomers for Himmler's obsession with "Cosmic Ice".
