I still haven't got those damn aorist figured out yet... All I
know is that I think they are late creations in IndoEuropean.
They don't look terribly old, unless maybe they were altered
in form later on. It doesn't even follow archaic accent patterns.
The lengthening reminds me of those monosyllabic root nouns though.
I have a reluctance to accept the e-infix idea. Infixes don't appear
to me to be something terribly popular in IE. Aside from the
*n-infix, there really isn't anything else.
I'm gonna have to think about a nifty solution...
