If you've seen, as I have, "Ile-de-France" analysed as a Turkic toponym, you'd agree that some sites had better not be mentioned at all lest they be dignified. I see no merit in criticising a pseudolinguistic website where every friggin sentence is rubbish. One very real danger is that people who can't be bothered to follow linguistic arguments and therefore don't quite understand your critique will nevertheless check your reference, find the stuff fascinating and start integrating it into their own theories, writing long postings about it in the meantime.

That's like saying that movie reviews sway people from watching movies. I think it's high time that linguistic sites were critiqued and rated, even brutally so when warranted and there are some sites out there that are just begging to be bad-mouthed.
