I am actually aware of what "the professionals" have to say in the
matter; Piotr and myself had this discussion some thousands of
postings ago. I am just not convinced that there is evidence enough
to prove this convenient notion that the whole story was made up.
That's why I'm trying run with the story to see if it runs into some
incontrovertible evidence to the contrary, the Popper way, you know.
So far it hasn't. I have also noticed a trend, a trend towards less
civility towards others in discussions, which I find dismaying. And
if you have no argument except trying to pull rank on me and
admonishing me to respect the elders, there isn't much of a
discussion, is there? Perhaps then, you would be advised to skip my
postings, for the sake of your peace of mind.
