It has two in my copy of the book, too. But it looks hypercorrect to me, or a fancy variant of the usual spelling. My reference books on Polish heraldry are at my parents' place near Warsaw, out of my reach at the moment. A quick net search I ran yielded several examples of <Kiez.gajl/o>, e.g.:

Hm... it has two in my "Boz.e igrzysko" (the [Znak, 2001] Polish
translation of Norman Davies' Gods Playground).
