Initial /fw-/ and /bw-/ are not unknown in English,
albeit in imported words. There is also the current English utterance
"fwaah" to denote appreciation of someone's physical beauty, if I may put it so
politely without distorting the real meaning beyond recognition.
English speakers have no trouble with Bwana, or
Tierra del Fuego.
