Hi and question

Hello, I'm not sure if this question is appropriate for this list. I've been
reading a bit but most of your discussions are over my head :) I've an
interest in linguistics, but basically know nothing about it at all (beyond
reading a couple of books about historical linguistics, most of which was
over my head :) but I'm glad to have found your list and hoping if I lurk
enough I'll eventually understand.

In any case, I was wondering if you could tell me if there's any possibility
if the names Arundhati (Sanskrit) and Arianrhod (Celtic) are related or
derived from a common source or if that's a totally ridiculous concept.
