Indeed, Mark

a point well taken

it reminds me of a story of someone that jumped without fear to glide
across the water, not knowing its length and depth were endless, nor
even how to swim.

still not to worry

I've often seen that madness may not preclude the rightful merits of
a theory. I, as Mark, believe that the only real proof is in
reconstructing the sequence. I know my strong suit isn't the
subtleties of Linguistics. Rather, I tend to focus on the
archaeological, geographical, chronological, and historical reference
aspect of the issue. Because my knowledge of Linguistics is so
limited, I typically acquiesce. That is, unless these other data
strongly suggest otherwise.
