Thanx, Harald. 'S what I thought. While "ni" is no longer in strong
use in Sweden, it is used in China. I propose that at some stage,
Proto-Swedes (who called themselves Cimmerians) travelled from their
Scandinavian homeland straight to China via the Caucasus. There,
they made a whole bunch of official documents causing people to adopt
"ni" in China (and that's where those red-head mummies come from...
they were Swedish Cimmerians! It's obvious!) :P The truth exposed at
last! Carry on.
