And if we dare tell Patrick that syllabicity fails to logically
explain the semantic nuance attributed to vocalic quality in IE conjugation,
we run the risk of more abusive comments that have
already seriously damaged our sister Nostratic list.

If ***anyone*** can show how syllabicity detrimentally affects IE conjugation, I would be most interested to see it.
