It's a way of spelling <þjatsi>. If common Germanic, it should derive from *þetas-o:n- or *þedas-o:n-. I have no idea what it means, if anything. Was there anything special about Thjazi? He was a shape-shifter, but I can't think of a plausible etymology based on that.
