Stating the obvious, it should perhaps be noted that the English
vocative particle "O" is more or less 'borrowed' from Greek, to handle
the Bible, e.g., "O foolish Galatians, who has betwitched you!".

We do use 'oh' as a way of starting off a conversation, or as a way
to catch someone's attention, 'oh, John', but this is not a real
vocative.
