'Three' of course, stupid mistake.
But talking of *dr-w-, in 'Riget', that Danish movie of ghosts in
hospitals (von Trier), they talk of a 'mane-træ', a (wooden) tool for
controlling spirits of the dead. Which reminded me: '-træ' is used in
Danish for wooden implements (<bold-træ> 'bat'), and I believe I saw
a (dialectal?) Greek <doru> 'spear'.
Question: Is *dr(-w) the same as *-tr-,*-tl- 'tool with which you
...'?
