Even if his emotional disorder and
creativity crisis in the 1690s and his later bickering with Leibnitz were due to
mercury poisoning, there's still plenty of behavioral difference between Sir
Isaac Newton and Master Shoko Asahara :)
Another factual element: they say the
phrase "mad as a hatter" dates from the time when mercury compounds were used in
felt production.
