Take it easy, Torsten, we're just kidding. I sent you a batch of arguments yesterday and you haven't answered yet. But while we're at it... The name Humboldt is a variant of Hu:n(a)-balth-, like OE Hu:nbald. As you can see, names can travel by themselves, unacompanied by real-life Huns or bears.
