In Latvian, 'daina' means a folk song, not necessarily set to music.
Sergei, the correct spelling is Daugava, not Dauguva, for the river flowing
into the Bay of Riga.
TheLatvian word for fence is 'z�gs', and the Latvian word for fish is 'zivs'
