He got there by simply doing right, I suppose.
 
Given the shape suggested by the stars of the hind part of the Big Bear, I wouldn't be surprised if it had been the Wagon since the late Neolithic.

It's Charles's Wagon in Swedish as well (Karlavagnen). How did Charlemagne end up in the sky and does anyone know what this constellation was called before him?
