Yes, it's Wielki Wóz (the Great Wain) in Polish (we also call the Little Bear "the Little Wain"). Charles's (i.e. Charlemagne's) Wain (OE Carles Waegen) is an alternative traditional British name.

I seem to remember a pretty widespread Eurasian appelation of "wain" or
"wagon" for the Big Dipper. That would seem to fit with the ancient
prominence of the wagon suggested by the survival of related words for same
in many languages, as per Mallory.
