I remain agnostic on the topic of "matriarchy" for the time being. A Goddess
religion, however, doesn't necessarily imply matriarchy and so would appear
to me to be a seperate issue. In the structure proposed by Gimbutas, she is
the only goddess in the pantheon. Whether she is to be considered a leader
or a mother to all is beside the point. The Old European and SemitoEuropoid
belief systems are still a seperate issue to matriarchy, being sometimes
mistakingly confused together like Julianus/John does. Let's stop confusing
the two in order to keep focus in the topic.
