Yes, I know it's a coincidence. Other between Greek and Finnic is hippos &
hevone "horse". Does anyone know the Uralic etymology of these names?
I think Greek PHOIBOS and PHOIBE: is more properly closer to IE *G'HWEIGw-
"to shine, star, celestial body", cf. Slavic zhvezda and Lituanian
zhvaigzde.
KOIOS must be related to KASH-/KISH-/KUSH- the names of various Moon-gods in
Western Asia. (Koios < *Kohios <*Kosios)
