How do you figure that XB refers to Christ has risen? Is it a reference
in some ancient language? And thanks for the info on eating Easter
eggs. Our family has a traditional Easter ritual with the colored eggs
where we search for the champion egg by knocking one pointed egg-end
against another. The person whose egg remains in tact, wins. Have you
ever heard of that?

And I loved your story about pancakes. They are also a past tradition
from my family.
